18-Year-Old Brandon Lowell Pronounced Dead At Scene

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay police traffic homicide investigators are searching for information regarding a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred just before 6 p.m. Sunday evening off Emerson Drive near Bayside Lakes Boulevard and Windbrook Drive.

According to Palm Bay Public Information Coordinator Yvonne Martinez, the driver of the motorcycle is identified as 18-year-old Brandon Lowell, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to witnesses, Lowell was traveling southbound on Emerson Drive at a high rate of speed when he lost control and crashed into a tree.

Investigators are trying to locate any additional witnesses who may be able to provide information during the moments prior to the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Robert Meehan at 321-952-3539.
