BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Crime Scene Units are at 3445 Daryl Terrace in Titusville, collecting evidence and investigating leads in conjunction with the murder investigation of 28-year-old Rayshaan Berry of Titusville.

According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, no arrests have been made regarding this investigation.

Victim Identified In Titusville Murder Investigation

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim found deceased on the roadside of State Road 50 as 28-year-old Rayshaan Berry of Titusville.

According to Major Tod Goodyear of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was located by a passing motorist this morning shortly before 6:30 a.m. on the roadside of State Road 50, about 3 miles west of I-95 in unincorporated Titusville.

The death is considered a homicide with Crime Scene investigators currently processing the scene and collecting evidence.

The victim’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office pending an autopsy. Initial observation of the crime scene indicates that the victim suffered a gunshot wound.

VIDEO UPDATE: Sheriff’s Office Conducting Death Investigation Near State Road 50

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation in the area of State Road 50, approximately 3 miles west of I-95 in Titusville, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. 

According to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, a body near State Road 50 was reported about 6:30 a.m. by a motorist, who then alerted authorities.

The Florida Highway Patrol has closed one west bound lane of traffic while investigators conduct the investigation.

At this time, the nature and circumstances of the death are unknown and more information will be provided as it become available.
