UPDATE: Florida Highway Patrol Identifies Victim In Fatal Indialantic Crash

Anastacia Hirsch of Mississippi killed
UPDATE: June 10, 2015, 11 p.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol has identified Anastacia Hirsch, 19, of Mississippi as the person killed Wednesday in the crash in Indialantic on A1A and Del Mar that occurred at 4:10 p.m.
Brooks Maxwell, 21, of Vero Beach is in critical condition at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Maxwell was driving the 2011 Subaru in which Hirsch, along with Donal Martin, 22, of Maine and 21-year-old James Pappas of Pennsylvania were also passengers.
Martin and Pappas are also in crtical condition at Holmes Regional Medical Center.
Janice Geist, 51, of Indialantic, was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Maxwell was traveling southbound on SR A1A.
Geist was traveling northbound on SR-A1A and preliminary information shows that for an unknown reason, Maxwell traveled into the northbound lanes and the front of Geist’s 1998 Ford struck the right side of Maxwell’s Subaru.
At this time, the Florida Highway Patrol does not have any witnesses that have come forward. Severe thunderstorms were in the area and it was raining at the time of the crash.

One Killed, Four Injured In Indialantic Two-Vehicle Crash
BREVARD COUNTY • INDIALANTIC, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are on scene of a fatal crash in Indialantic on A1A and Del Mar that occurred at 4:10 p.m. that involved two vehicles.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an adult female died at Holmes Regional, and according to the fire department, four other people were transported.
The road is blocked in the area.
