BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The precautionary boil water notice is still in effect for Brevard County Utility Services water customers in the Barefoot Bay and Snug Harbor subdivisions.

Boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes until further notice. Boiling water for one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

Sampling is currently underway to determine when the water will be safe to drink. Results of the sampling will not be determined until Monday when another update will be issued. Continue to boil water until a rescission notice is issued by Brevard County Utility Services.
