Florida Tech AD Bill Jurgens To Speak During 2015 Lecture Series

ABOVE VIDEO: The FIT athletic department has expanded under Bill Jurgens’ watch to include 22 sports and hundreds of student athletes. As Florida Tech’s number and variety of sports teams has grown over the years, interacting and building relationships with the student athletes has taken on added significance for Jurgens. He was inducted into the Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame in 2013.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – With one of the more memorable athletic campaigns in school history nearly in the books, Athletics Director Bill Jurgens will speak about the Panthers’ most recent athletics season as part of the Florida Institute of Technology Lifelong Scholar Society 2015 summer lecture series.

Jurgens will speak on the history of Florida Tech Athletics and will highlight the remarkable 2014-15 campaign, which included many milestone performances and unforgettable moments.

The hour-long lecture will run from 6-7 p.m. ET on July 23 at the Harris Community Center at Foosaner Art Museum.

Tickets for admission are $20 per person, $10 for Lifelong Scholar Society members and free to Florida Tech students, faculty and staff.
