BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The City of Melbourne has hired Aaron Seaman to serve as Golf Course Operations Manager.

He will manage all aspects of golf course operations at both Mallards Landing and Crane Creek Reserve.

“We are truly excited to have Aaron Seaman join our team,” said Director of Parks & Recreation Kevin Briski.

“Based on his professional experience and outstanding accomplishments, we are confident that he will bring leadership, enthusiasm, and a strong focus on customer service to our golf facilities and programs.”  

Aaron brings close to 10 years of golf course management and maintenance experience to the position. He has extensive knowledge of golf maintenance and mechanics, horticulture, and golf operations, as well as expertise in marketing strategies and event and tournament coordination.

Aaron most recently served as the Director of Golf Course Maintenance for Tampa Palms Golf, and before that was the Director of Golf Course Maintenance at Hearthstone Country Club inHouston, Texas.

Originally from Daytona Beach, Aaron has an Associate’s Degree in Golf Course Operations/Turf and Turf Grass Management from Indian River State College. Prior to entering the golf industry, he served for 8 years as a Boatswain’s Mate in the U.S. Coast Guard.

“We are happy to welcome Aaron as our new Golf Operations Manager,” said Gubbi S. Sachidanandan, Vice Chairman of the Golf Courses Advisory Board. “We are looking forward for him to take the lead and continue to make improvements and enhancements to our golf course operations.”
