BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Please welcome two new police officers to our ranks, Officer Brandel and Officer Clifford, who were sworn in Thursday by Chief Steve Mimbs.

After a rigorous training cycle they will be out on the streets protecting and serving. Please welcome them to your Melbourne Police Department.

The Melbourne Police Department is an “Approved for Veteran’s Training” agency. This means that probationary police officers who are qualifying veterans and were Florida LEO certified after January 11, 2007, may be eligible for additional monthly benefits.
