Tropical Storm ‪‎Erika Continuing West-Northwest Path, Predicted To Hit Florida Monday.

NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER – The Friday 11 a.m. NHC Update on Tropical Storm ‪#‎Erika‬  show the storm continuing its west-northwest path at 18 mph with max sustained winds of 50 mph.

Some weakening is still forecasted as Erika moves over Hispaniola today, but it is expected to reach the Florida peninsula late Sunday night.

It is important to remember there remains plenty of uncertainty in the projected strength and track with Erika and significant impacts are still possible for Florida with this system.
