GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA (GatorZone.com)– The Gators’ depth chart entering the first game of the season looks about as expected.

Redshirt freshman Will Grier or sophomore Treon Harris is atop the depth chart at quarterback.

With defensive lineman Alex McCalister and defensive back Marcus Maye unavailable Saturday against New Mexico State, redshirt sophomore Nick Washington is listed as a starter at safety alongside junior Keanu Neal.

Meanwhile, redshirt sophomore Jordan Sherit earned a spot on the two-deep with a solid camp. He is listed behind Bryan Cox Jr. at the RUSH spot in McCalister’s absence.
