ABOVE VIDEO: Footage reveals the largest shark ever recorded on video. Mauricio Hoyos Padilla is a shark researcher and was working on a project in 2013 near Guadalupe Island off the Mexican coast, posted video to his Facebook page this week of Deep Blue, a 20-foot female great white shark who’s estimated to be about 5,000 pounds and 50 years old.
