BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Agent Casey Smith and his family have received fantastic support from the Brevard community and on Friday Sheriff Wayne Ivey was presented funds from two philanthropic Space Coast businesses.

“This afternoon our agency was honored to receive a check from Jersey Mike’s in the amount of $3,739.18 for the Brevard County Public Safety Charity in the honor of Agent Casey Smith,” said Sheriff Ivey.

On August 31 Jersey Mike’s committed to donating 20 percent of all their sales to the Charity to help support Agent Smith and other First Responders in their time of need.

“I would like to personally thank Jersey Mike’s for their support and everyone in our community who stopped by to support Casey and our agency,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Today I also had the honor of being presented with a check from B&H Gun Rack and B&H Police Supply for the Brevard County Public Safety Charity in the amount of $3,190 in honor of Agent Casey Smith.”

Over the past week B&H Gun Rack sold raffle tickets for a Springfield XDS to raise money to support Agent Smith.

“I could not be more proud to live and work in this community where so many people have come together to show their support for Casey and our agency,” said Sheriff Ivey.
