BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Institute of Technology’s Foosaner Art Museum presents finger-style guitarist Chuck Van Riper from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, in the museum’s Harris Community Auditorium.
Admission is free. Beer, wine and soft drinks are available for purchase.
The Jazz Friday performance is normally held in Foosaner Art Museum but temporarily changed venues as the museum is closed for the installation of a new exhibition.
Jazz Fridays are held the first Friday of each month during the Eau Gallie Arts District’s First Friday Art Walk.
Foosaner Art Museum is at 1463 Highland Ave. in the Eau Gallie Arts District of Melbourne.
It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, except Thursdays, when it remains opens until 7 p.m.; Sunday hours are 1-5 p.m.
General admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children, seniors and students with ID; admission is free on Thursdays and always for Florida Tech faculty, staff and students with ID.
