BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County TRIAD, Inc. will host their 16 Annual Senior Fest on Friday, October 2, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Melbourne Auditorium located at 625 E. Hibiscus Blvd., Melbourne 32901.
The fundraising event enables TRIAD to work toward many goals at one time.
Lunch will be provided free of charge. The public is welcome and admission and parking are free.
Both Sherriff Wayne Ivey and State Attorney Phil Archer will join the festivities by presiding over announcing the winners of the multitude of door prizes provided by event participants.
As one of the largest Senior Events in the County, Senior Fest provides area seniors with important information about the wide array of services available in our community.
Flu shots will be available, as well as blood pressure checks, balance testing and other valuable checks to help seniors live safely and healthier.
An often-unnoticed goal achieved by the event is that of intergenerational incorporation. Melbourne High student volunteers will be on hand throughout the day assisting vendors with set-up, welcoming attendees and serving lunch.
