BREVARD COUNTY • PORT ST. JOHN, FLORIDA – Not only do smoke detectors save lives, but they also reduce damage by early detection.
Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in Port St. John in the 4600 block of Carysbrook Court on Thursday morning and a working smoke detector alerted the occupants of a home and they were able to exit the home safely and alert the fire department.
