Cocoa Police Seek Volunteers For Non-Profit Thrift Shop

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The police department’s first of its kind non-profit thrift shop is in need of volunteers to help manage operations.

The Cocoa Community First Thrift Shop at 801 Dixon Blvd. is open Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The proceeds from all sales benefit the Cocoa Police Athletic League and all of the department’s youth outreach programs.

Volunteers are needed for a wide range of tasks including laundry, stocking and pricing items, accepting donations, customer service and sales along with other duties as needed.

Volunteers must be at least 15 years old and must pass a minimal background check.

Cocoa Community First, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Receipts can be provided for all donations.
