BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office’s GAMEOVER Task Force arrested Gavin Lancelot Chung, 49, on Tuesday morning about 9:30 a.m.

Police say he fired a shot at his wife near Holmes Regional Medical Center, and then fled the scene in a vehicle on Monday night.  The woman was not injured.

According to police, the suspect shot at his wife with a 40-caliber handgun as she was leaving the hospital in her vehicle and hit her cellphone, which was in her hand.

Chung, who police say is from Palm Bay, left the scene in a silver Nissan 350Z with Florida license plate number DHF72.

The suspect has been charged with attempted murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and shooting into an occupied conveyance.
