BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Premier Urgent/Primary Care at Suntree in Melbourne has been named the exclusive medical service provider at the Holzer Health Center on the campus of Florida Tech.
The medical practice has been a center of medical excellence in the Suntree area of Melbourne for more than 15 years.
“Premier is honored to be providing care to a University with such an outstanding reputation and privileged to follow the dream of Dr. O.A. Holzer who started the center in 1975,” said Dr. David Badolato.
The two dynamic physician twin brothers have been leaders in the Brevard County medical community for years and are highly supportive of the University.
Premier Urgent/Primary Care began operations at the student health center on Aug. 1 and expect to see about 7,000 patient visits in the first year. Office visits are free to all registered Florida Tech students regardless of insurance for acute illnesses or injuries.
The Holzer Health Center, with Premier and their medical providers, will provide medical care for all Florida Tech students and will also extend their services to all faculty and staff.
“We are grateful to have the Badolatos and Premier Urgent Care running our Holzer Student Health Center,” said Dr. Dwayne T. McKay, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, who will step in as the University’s president after Dr. Anthony Catanese retires later this year.
