BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Davorius Levon Smith, 26, of Melbourne, was found shot to death Thursday evening on the 1100 Block of Coleman Street in North Melbourne, according to the Melbourne Police Department.

The Melbourne Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the area when they found the victim.

Police said that numerous witnesses said three males were seen fleeing the area immediately after the shooting.

The MPD Criminal Investigations Unit and the Crime Scene Unit are actively working the scene.

Melbourne police ask that if anyone has any information about this incident that they call CRIMELINE at 1-800-423 TIPS (8477) or the MPD at 321-608-6731.
