VIDEO: Car Burglary Caught On Surveillance, Cocoa Police Seek Identity of Suspect

SUSPECT SOUGHT IN BURGLARY INVESTIGATION(Cocoa, FL)—Detectives are currently seeking the identity of a suspect captured on security video burglarizing several vehicles at a local car dealership. It was one of two locations in which approximately 20 vehicles were burglarized. In one of the incidents the suspect is seen on video using an unknown type tool to break the door locks on several vehicles. The incident was captured just before 4 a.m. Monday at the Car Nation, 2705 N. Cocoa Blvd. Surveillance video shows what appears to be a white male suspect approximately 5’7” tall, and may be between the age of 18 and 25 years old. He was wearing a dark colored hat, white shirt, dark shorts and black shoes. Similar incidents were also reported at another local automotive business at 2003 N. Cocoa Blvd. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cocoa Police Department at 321-639-7620 (option 4) or CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS. CRIMELINE callers can remain anonymous and can be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 in this case.###

Cocoa Blvd as surveillance video shows what appears to be a white male suspect approximately 5’7” tall, and may be between the age of 18 and 25 years old.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police Detectives are currently seeking the identity of a suspect captured on security video burglarizing several vehicles at a local car dealership.

It was one of two locations where approximately 20 vehicles were burglarized.

In one of the incidents, the suspect is seen on video using an unknown tool to break the door locks on several vehicles.

The incident was captured just before 3 a.m. Monday at the Car Nation, 2705 N. Cocoa Boulevard as surveillance video shows what appears to be a white male suspect approximately 5-feet-7-inches tall, and may be between the age of 18 and 25 years old, according to Public Information Officer Yvonne Martinez of the Cocoa Police Department.

The suspect was wearing a dark colored hat, white shirt, dark shorts and black shoes.

Similar incidents were also reported at another local automotive business at 2003 N. Cocoa Boulevard.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cocoa Police Department at 321-639-7620 (option 4) or CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS.
