Attorney General Bondi Releases the 2015 Holiday Shopping Guide

The guide includes tips about purchasing items online, ways to avoid charity scams and advice on how to stick to a budget.

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Just in time for Black Friday, Attorney General Pam Bondi is releasing her 2015 Holiday Shopping Guide.

The guide is a compilation of product safety information and consumer tips to help Floridians enjoy a safer and more satisfying shopping experience.

“The holiday shopping season is the most wonderful time of the year for retailers and we want to make sure consumers also have a great experience,” said Attorney General Bondi.

“That is why I am releasing the 2015 Holiday Shopping Guide just in time for Black Friday. The guide is a fantastic resource for anyone shopping in person or online; and since the guide is mobile, shoppers can reference it while they are out buying presents.”

The guide includes tips about purchasing items online, ways to avoid charity scams and advice on how to stick to a budget.

Also included, is a list of items recalled by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission during the past year.

These products, including toys and other home products, have been recalled by manufacturers because of safety and health concerns.

Attorney General Bondi urges Floridians to review this list for unsafe items that may need to be removed from homes.
