BREVARD COUNTY, • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – “Do you rescue cats out of trees?” is a common question asked by many people, said the Brevard County Fire Rescue on their Facebook page.

“As a matter of fact we do!”

In this case, it was Loco, who was chased up the palm tree by a dog. The cat was rescued by the crew of Truck 41 on Merritt Island Saturday afternoon.

“Meow that’s a good story, CATastrophe averted,” said BCFR.
