BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Throughout the year the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office works with numerous businesses in our county on various business and community related projects.

It is our honor to occasionally recognize some of our incredible business partners for their outstanding partnership with our agency and for their impressive years of community service.

I am very please to recognize another Brevard County Business that provides exceptional support and service to our citizens and Public Safety community.

Dr. Lance Armstrong, of Armstrong Chiropractic has been an enthusiastic supporter of our community based events and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office for over 15 years.

Dr. Armstrong often provides his time and services to the members of our citizens and entire Public Safety community.

He has travelled each year with our SWAT Team to the annual SWAT Round-Up national training and competition, providing chiropractic services.

He can also be seen each year at our annual S.R. Speedy DeWitt Tactical Firearms Challenge fundraiser with his entire team providing complimentary chiropractic care for the participants and volunteers.

Dr. Armstrong, attended Cocoa Beach High School and the University of Central Florida.

He earned his Degree in Chiropractic Medicine from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in October 1996. He was selected from his graduating class of 291 to receive the prestigious, “Clinical Excellence Award.”

Dr. Armstrong’s office is located on Highway A1A in Cocoa Beach, he is a past president of the Florida Chiropractic Association and was named, “Chiropractor of the Year” in 2002.

His office is filled with memorabilia and commendation plaques for his service to our Country as an Air Force Captain, where he served as a B-52 Flight Instructor of Radar Navigation/Bombardier.

Dr. Armstrong and his incredible team at Armstrong Chiropractic has partnered with the entire Public Safety community to enhance the relationships that makes Brevard County such an incredible community to visit, work and live.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is very proud to be a partner with Dr. Armstrong and his wonderful team and can’t thank them enough for helping to foster a true sense of community involvement!

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey has been a law enforcement officer for over three decades. Sheriff Ivey is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and has a Bachelor’s Degree from Daytona State College in Management and Supervision. Sheriff Ivey’s background in law enforcement is inclusive of Management, Criminal Investigations, Narcotics, Patrol Services, Public Integrity Investigations, and Corrections.

Prior to being elected in 2012, Sheriff Ivey served the citizens of the State of Florida as a Resident Agent in Charge for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. As a member of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Sheriff Ivey developed and created the country’s first ever statewide Task Force on Identity Theft.

That same year the Task Force was named one of the top five most innovative programs in the country by the International Association of Chiefs of Police and investigated approximately 44 million dollars in fraud cases. Additionally, as a member of FDLE, Sheriff Ivey created the Child Abduction Response Team (C.A.R.T) that re-defined the way Child Abduction cases are conducted throughout the country today.

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey has been a law enforcement officer for over three decades. The program was later selected as the most innovative program in the country by the International Association of Chiefs of Police and is now used as a nationwide model in the response and investigation of child abductions.

Sheriff Ivey has testified before the United States Congress on law enforcement related matters and has extensive experience in the area of Public Integrity Investigations. Sheriff Ivey was honored as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Special Agent of the Year (1996) and was also recognized by the Commissioner of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for his Outstanding Contributions to Criminal Justice. In August of 2011 Sheriff Ivey was honored by the National Organization of Victims Advocacy for his work at the national level as an advocate of victim’s rights and protection.

Sheriff Ivey speaks regularly on topics such as Identity Theft, Crime in America, Human Trafficking, Domestic Violence, and Self Defense through Mental Preparedness. Sheriff Ivey firmly believes that Crime Prevention and Education are vital to reduce our crime rate and protect our community.
