Municipal, Special District Elections Set For Cape Canaveral, Rockledge and Barefoot Bay

Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott would like to remind voters that Tuesday, Nov. 3 is Election Day.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott would like to remind voters that Tuesday, Nov. 3 is Election Day.

This Municipal and Special District Election is open to all registered voters living within Cape Canaveral, Precincts 204 and 226; Rockledge, Precincts 132, 200, 211, 219, 224, 417 and 425; and Barefoot Bay Recreation District, Precinct 304.

“My office has issued 6,105 Vote-By-Mail ballots, of which 2,233 (37%) have been returned,” said Scott.

“As a reminder, Vote-By-Mail ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. on Election Day. Voters may return their vote-by-mail ballot to any of the four Election Administrative Offices.”

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and there are 29,657 eligible voters for this election.

“Election Day preparations are always an exciting time in the Elections Office,” said Scott, “and the preparation is the same whether it is a Municipal and Special District Election, or the President is on the ballot: poll workers have been trained, election equipment has been tested, vote-by-mail ballots have been sent, polling locations are prepped and ready – it’s now up to the voters.”
