Titusville police has identified 37-year old Bobby Lamont Mitchell of Mims, as the man fatally shot just after 2 a.m. on Sunday in the parking area of 1040 Tree Lane in Titusville.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police has identified 37-year old Bobby Lamont Mitchell of Mims, as the man fatally shot just after 2 a.m. on Sunday in the parking area of 1040 Tree Lane in Titusville.

According to Titusville Police spokesperson Amy Matthews, Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Titusville Police Officers responded to a report of a shooting at Emerald Place Apartments,” said Matthes in a release.

“The preliminary investigation reveals that the suspect appears to be known to the victim.
Detectives are working strong leads in this case.”
