BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – In preparation for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, Disney Cruise Line crew members from the Disney Fantasy – in port for just the day – donated their time to help sort and stock nearly 9,000 pounds of food at the Sharing Center of Central Brevard.

The Disney Cruise Line VoluntEARS spent the morning sorting through thousands of donated food items and categorizing them for the Sharing Center to allow for easier distribution.

The donated food is available for those in need at the Sharing Center’s Emergency Food Pantry, which provides an estimated 8 tons of food monthly to residents living within Central Brevard County.

The Sharing Center is currently preparing to assist 250 local families with Thanksgiving Meal Baskets and serving Thanksgiving dinner at the Center for those in need.
