BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech football’s work with the Boys and Girls Club of Indian River County has been selected as one of a few community outreach initiatives highlighted by the NCAA and Enterprise Rent-A-Car as an “Ultimate Pick Up Moment.”

For the past several years, members of the Panther football team have been travelling down the road to Fellsmere, Florida on a weekly basis to volunteer their time at the boys and girls club, participating in sports and supporting the local youth.

Earlier in the year, a handful of Panther players travelled back down to Fellsmere to lend a hand at the Fellsmere Police Department Getting Ahead Fair. After spending the morning packing boxes from the food drive into peoples’ cars, the players hit the courts with the young children of the area to play some basketball.

In recognition of the charitable act, Enterprise Rent-A-Car has published a short video featuring FIT football’s relationship with the Boys and Girls Club.
