ABOVE VIDEO: Police were called when a suspect tried to cash a bad check with a fake ID, when police arrived, the suspect fled with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol in pursuit on I-95. The suspect crashed with a pickup truck exiting I-95 at State Road 524.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue units Engine 44, Rescue 44, Fire 5 and District 45 responded to a two vehicle collision at State Road 524 and I-95 in Cocoa on Tuesday.

According to police, the incident began when a suspect attempted to cash a bad check with a fake ID at a Chase Bank in Rockledge.

When police arrived, the suspect fled with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol in pursuit on I-95. The suspect crashed with a pickup truck exiting I-95 at State Road 524.

One personal refused treatment, and the suspect was arrested by Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies.
