Victims of Saturday’s Deadly Car Crash In Palm Bay Identified

Brevard County Fire Rescue has responded to a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash Sunday about 3:30 p.m. on Maltese Lane and State Road A1A in Melbourne Beach.

The driver, Leah Liakos, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene when first responders arrived.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Authorities have released the name of the victim of the traffic fatality that occurred early Saturday morning in Palm Bay.

The driver, Leah Liakos, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene when first responders arrived.

The passenger, Hope Basserly, 21, was transported by ambulance to Holmes Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed east on Malabar road and struck a concrete power pole at the corner of Malabar and Babcock.
