BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – Two women have pleaded guilty to aggravated battery in the Satellite Beach crowbar attack that happened last year in February.

19-year-olds Rebecca Gotay and Jessie Umberger appeared in court Thursday and pleaded guilty in their roles in the crowbar assault on 17-year-old Daniel Vukovich.

Vukovich was then transported to the hospital in critical condition and with numerous fractures.

Dylan Thomas, 18, pled not guilty on the accusation of wielding a weapon. Prosecutors claim Thomas was the one who used the crowbar to beat Vukovich on that February night.
