BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Medical Society will gather on Thursday, January 28 at the Holiday Inn in Viera to install new officers, and bring their members and guests up to date information from the health care industry.

Incoming Brevard County Medical Society President Dr. James D. Glenn will receive the gavel from outgoing BCMS President Dr. Devin Datta, and will then talk about the BCMS’s rich history, advantages of membership and dedication to the community for more than a century.

Dr. Kyle Moyles will highlight the Florida Medical Association’s recent activities.

The FMA represents more than 20,000 physicians on issues of legislation and regulatory affairs, medical economics and education, public health and ethical and legal issues.

The organization, which was founded in 1974, advocates for physicians and their patients to promote the public health, ensure the highest standards of medical practice, and to enhance the quality and availability of health care in the Sunshine State.

The meet and greet will begin at 6 p.m. and the dinner program at 7 p.m., which is complimentary for all physicians and guests.

The Honorable Judge A.B. Majeed will deliver the Invocation and The Honorable Judge John Dean Moxley will conduct the installation of the 2016 Brevard County Medical Society officers.

Officers for 2016 include: President – James D. Glenn, M.D.; President Elect – Piyush Joshi, M.D.; Vice President – David Badolato, M.D.; Treasurer – Kyles Moyles, M.D.; Secretary – Gobivenkata, Balaji, M.D.; and Immediate Past President – Devin Datta, M.D.

Titusville Mayor James H. Tulley, Jr. will be on hand and present “What is great about Titusville.”
