Florida Tech Lacrosse Preseason Ranked No. 13 By Nike/Lacrosse Magazine

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The University of Tampa and Florida Tech represent the Sunshine State Conference in the preseason edition of the 2016 Nike/Lacrosse Magazine Men’s Preseason Top 15 poll.
The poll was released on Thursday, January 7.
Tampa won both the SSC regular season and tournament championship in 2015. The Spartans advanced to the NCAA tournament for the second consecutive year, where they were defeated, 15-7, by Lake Erie. Tampa finished the year 15-4 and 5-0 in SSC play.
The Spartans kick begin 2016 on Feb. 6 with an exhibition game against NCAA Division I Mercer in Macon, Georgia.
Florida Tech ended the 2015 season with a 12-4 record and finished runner-up in the Sunshine State Conference, falling to Tampa 11-8 in the championship game.
The Panthers will also begin their 2016 campaign with an exhibition game against Mercer in Macon, Georgia on Jan. 30.
