BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Women’s basketball’s Kailyn Ebb and men’s basketball’s Jordan Majors have earned Panther Student-Athlete of the Week honors for their performances during the week of Jan. 11 to Jan. 17.

Ebb was a work horse in the paint for the Panthers in their recent meeting with Rollins on Wednesday.

The sophomore recorded her first career double-double for the Crimson and Gray, finishing with 13 points and a team-high 12 boards in 31 minutes of action. She was efficient in the game as well, making 4-of-7 from the field and 5-of-8 from the charity stripe.

The Accokeek, Maryland native is fifth on the team in scoring (5.7 ppg) and third in rebounding (6.1 rpg). Ebb currently leads the Sunshine State Conference with 60 total offensive rebounds, for a league-best 4 offensive boards per game.

Majors was impactful on both ends of the floor in the Panthers’ matchup with Rollins a week ago. The redshirt sophomore tallied 15 points on an efficient 4-of-7 from the floor to go along with eight rebounds and three assists.

The double-digit scoring performance is Majors’ ninth straight after opening the year with just three such efforts in the first seven contests.
