The Canaveral Port Authority (CPA) is seeking proposals (PUR-RFP-14-7 Rebid) from highly qualified operators for the provision of various concession services including a snack bar/restaurant at Jetty Park in Port Canaveral.
Jetty Park is one of the most popular recreation spots in Brevard County. Besides the 4.5 acre family beach with its designated areas for swimming and surfing (lifeguards on duty year round), one of this park’s best-loved features is the 1,200 foot Malcolm E. BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The Canaveral Port Authority (CPA) is seeking proposals (PUR-RFP-14-7 Rebid) from highly qualified operators for the provision of various concession services including a snack bar/restaurant at Jetty Park in Port Canaveral.

This solicitation is governed by CPA Policy 2011-02, Establishment of a Limited Communications Period with Respect to Procurement Procedures.

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the receiving area of Canaveral Port Authority, 445 Challenger Rd., Cape Canaveral, Florida 32920 until January 5, 2016 at 2 p.m. EST.

Receiving area is in rear of building and will be manned week days from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (DO NOT LEAVE SEALED PROPOSALS WITH 1ST FLOOR RECEPTIONIST).

A selection committee meeting will be held on January 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM for the purpose of reviewing written proposals and preparing a shortlist.

A second selection committee meeting will be held on January 12, 2016 at 4 p.m. for the purpose of preparing a final rank. The selection committee meetings will be held in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room at the CPA offices, 445 Challenger Road, Cape Canaveral, Florida and will be open to the public.

Rodney S. Ketcham Park is a four-acre park at the Port’s west end featuring boat-launch ramps, covered picnic tables, grills and fishing from the bulkheads. This park is also a stop on the Great Florida Birding Trail. There are no fees for its use. (Port Canaveral image)
