When a man posed with oversized snook on Instagram, his followers tipped the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission off.

FWC officers heard the picture poser was fishing from a jetty, so they conducted surveillance, watching and waiting.

They spotted two suspects sneaking off the jetty looking suspicious as they proceeded to hide their illicit catch behind bushes in buckets.

The officers saw a car pull up, then the men popped the buckets in the trunk, jumped in and pulled away.

When the officers stopped the car, they cited the poachers for taking snook during the closed season and harvesting undersized snook.
