Brevard Sheriff’s Deputies Investigating Shooting Near Cocoa, Results In Three Victims

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigating after a corpse was discovered in a body of water near Latan Circle in Barefoot Bay on Tuesday.
Brevard County Sheriff’s Office was called to a scene after a 911 call that reported shots fired on Wednesday at around 1:30 p.m, near the TTC Tax Refund Business at 1383 Clearlake Road, Unincorporated Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office was called to a scene after a 911 call that reported shots fired on Wednesday at around 1:30 p.m, near the TTC Tax Refund business at 1383 Clearlake Road in unincorporated Cocoa.

Deputies arrived on scene to find three male victims with gunshot wounds, according Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

“Two male victims were transported to area hospitals and one was released on scene,” said Cpl. Jacobs.

‘One victim was airlifted in critical condition and the other was driven with non-life-threatening injuries.’

The identities of the participants involved in the incident are not being released at this time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the event is still in the beginning stages, and more information will be given as the details become available.

Homicide agents and Crime Scene Investigators are currently processing the scene for evidence and interviewing witnesses.

This shooting incident appears to be isolated and all parties have been identified.
