BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Major League Soccer’s Orlando City announced on Tuesday its Orlando City B team will play Eastern Florida’s men’s soccer team in a friendly match at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19.

The match will be played at the Titan Soccer Complex on the Melbourne Campus which will be Orlando City B’s home for the 2016 season.

“We’re absolutely excited for the series of competitive fixtures we have prepared to get the team ready for our 2016 United Soccer League (USL) season,” said OCB head coach Anthony Pulis.

“We want to continue our successful history in the league while developing our young talent and we are confident that facing some of these top squads in the next weeks will be instrumental to achieve this.”

The Eastern Florida match will be the finale of 11 friendlies for Orlando City B which won its opening two. All friendlies are open to media only, Orlando City said.

Orlando City B opens the 2016 USL season at the Titan Soccer Complex at 7:30 p.m. March 26 against the Wilmington Hammerheads.

The team opens single-game ticket sales for the 2016 USL season at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Tickets start at $16 and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.

Eastern Florida’s men played Orlando City’s MLS team at the Titan Soccer Complex on Feb. 7, losing 4-0. The match capped a week’s worth of Orlando City training at the complex.
