The Titans also improved to 27-3 overall. Miami Dade fell to 6-9 and 16-14.

The Titans built a 46-28 lead at halftime on Thursday and cruised from there.

Freshman Austin Awad led the Titans with 21 points. Sophomore Djordje Beronja scored 17, freshmen Richard Gaines and C.J. Jackson 12 each.

“It was a great team effort and I’m glad we finished the regular season undefeated in conference,” Awad said.

“It’s one minor step to our ultimate goal of chasing a championship this year.”

The Titans, ranked fourth nationally in the NJCAA Division I poll and first in Florida, on Jan. 23 won their believed to be unprecedented fourth straight conference championship.

“I am just so happy, it’s been a wonderful two years,” said Beronja.

“We have to keep going we’ve got the state tournament. We need to get healthy. I am looking forward to being national champion.”

Beronja and classmate Zavier Peart are the winningest sophomores in Eastern Florida/Brevard Community College history with 56 victories to date in two seasons. The Titans also have lost just one game in the last 61 at home dating back to 2012 when they last lost a conference game at home.

“Yet again, these guys continue to amaze me,” said Titan head coach Jeremy Shulman.

“I have a special group of guys, and we are a special team. What they’ve accomplished up to this point, 15-0 and conference for the first time in history, 27-3 on the year and ranked fourth nationally, it’s amazing. And it couldn’t happen to a better group of people.”
