NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Severe weather potential for Wednesday includes Brevard County and all of east central Florida.
According to the National Weather Service in Melbourne, at this time the late morning through around sunset Wednesday appears to be period of the highest threat of severe weather.

Wednesday…Considerable cloudiness in the morning then becoming cloudy. Showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms. Some storms with strong wind gusts. Windy. Highs in the mid 80s. South winds 20 to 25 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of rain 60 percent.
