Kudos to the Port's Environmental and Facilities teams who gave a helping hand to one of our feathered visitors, who overdid it on his vacation. The Port's Environmental Team quickly responded to a call that came from the CPA facilities staff indicating that there was an injured bird at the Ketcham Park boat ramp. The bird, a Common Loon, was transported to the Florida Wildlife Hospital in Palm Shores, the only such facility for wildlife in the county. (Port Canaveral image)
