A graduate of the University of Kentucky Medical School, Hermansdorfer completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Florida and received fellowship training in hand surgery at the Indiana Center for Surgery and Rehabilitation of the Hand in Indianapolis.
The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons awarded him a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand.
“Between the two of them, they have over 40 years in medical service,” said Eaker.
The practice is the only one in Florida to offer insterstitial laser, laser treatment delivered via needle directly into the affected area. The laser is used as follow-up to stem cell therapy.
“We use the maximum amount of super cells and follow it with laser for optimum results,” said Eaker.
While most patients are good candidates for the procedure, individuals on blood thinners or antibiotics do not qualify for stem cell therapy.
