BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Col. Jennifer Sovada, Air Force Technical Applications Center commander at Patrick Air Force Base, threw out the first pitch prior to the Washington Nationals baseball game at Space Coast Stadium for Military Appreciation Day on Sunday.

In addition to the first pitch, Tech. Sgt. Altrameise Myers, assigned to the 920th Rescue Wing, sang the national anthem and the Patrick Air Force Base Honor Guard presented the colors as part of the military appreciation day opening events.
