Brevard County Manatees Announce Promotional Schedule For 2016 Baseball Season

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORDA – The Brevard County Manatees are excited to announce the team’s promotional schedule for the 2016 season.
This season’s theme nights feature favorites such as Opening Day festivities (April 8) and Star Wars Night (July 30), as well as weekly promotions which include specials on food and drinks and discounts for members of Manny’s Silver Tees Club and Manny’s Mini Tees Club.
The 2016 season gets off to its start with Opening Day at Space Coast Stadium on April 8. as a number of promotions are set to take place. Little Leaguers from across Brevard County will be in attendance for Little League Night – $3 tickets for any player or coach and their families – and area church groups are invited to celebrate Faith Night at the Stadium. The night will be capped off with a postgame Fireworks show.
Opening Day on April 8 will include one of eight postgame Fireworks shows throughout the 2016 season. In addition to April 8 the dates will include April 16, May 7, June 11, July 4, July 30, August 6, and September 3.

5/7 – Mother’s Day at the Park, Postgame Fireworks Show
5/27-29 – Outdoors Weekend (Florida Wildlife and Conservation Specialty Jerseys)
6/5 – Florida Department of Emergency Management Night
6/11 – Cancer Care Center of Brevard Night, Scout Night, and Postgame Fireworks
6/15 – Senior Day presented by Legacy Club and Camper’s Day
6/25 – City of Palm Bay Night
7/4 – Independence Day Celebration
7/16 – Frozen in July
7/28 – Alumni Night
7/30 – Star Wars Night presented by Brevard Schools Foundation and Postgame Fireworks
8/6 – Viera-Suntree Night and Postgame Fireworks
8/16 – Catholic Diocese Night, presented by Melbourne Central Catholic High School
8/21 – Bark in the Park
9/3 – Special Olympics Night and Postgame Fireworks
In addition to theme nights, each day of the week will also feature a promotion for Manatees home games.
Fun Day Sunday, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors – Manny’s Mini Tees and Silver Tees Club members are granted free admission to all Sunday home games, and kids will have the opportunity to run the bases and play catch on the field following each game. JJ Snacks will also present a snack giveaway for the game.
Melbourne Main Street Monday and Service Industry Night – Local businesses from downtown Melbourne will be featured throughout each Monday game and members of the service industry will be provided with food and drink specials.

Manny’s Silver ‘Tees Club Night presented by Browning’s Pharmacy – As a part of Manny’s Silver Tees Club, members will receive a free ticket to all Tuesday home games. In addition, Tuesdays will also feature two-dollar hot dogs and bingo throughout the game.
Saving’s Safari Wednesdays – Be sure to be on the look out in Savings Safari, as a coupon for Wednesday games will be available for Savings Safari Wednesdays.
Thirsty Thursdays, presented by Trivia Nation – Thursdays this season will feature two-dollar specials on draft beer and fountain Coca-Cola products. Trivia Nation will also conduct trivia contest on the Seacoast Bank Berm deck.
Blazin’ Fridays, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings – Fans in attendance will receive a Buffalo Wild Wings coupon, and themed in-game promotions will include the Blazin’ Challenge where selected fans will test their taste buds to see how many of Buffalo Wild Wings hottest wings they can eat in one minute!
Knockerball Saturdays – Get in the ball as Knockerball hits the field at Space Coast Stadium for all Saturday games for the 2016 season. Knockerball will be available to all fans in attendance both pre and post game.
The Manatees will their home opener at Space Coast Stadium on April 8 at 6:35pm against the Daytona Tortugas. Ticket packages are now available online at manateesbaseball.com, and single game tickets will be available for purchase starting March 14.
