Eastern Florida State Women’s Tennis Fall to St. Petersburg 8-1

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – After sweeping a pair of matches in Mississippi last week, the Eastern Florida State College women’s tennis team is off to a rough start in their latest road trip.

The No. 14 Titans fell to No. 5 St. Petersburg 8-1 on Thursday.

Ann-Kathrin Zilles won the only match of the day for EFSC at No. 5 singles, beating St. Petersburg’s Jennifer Camacho 6-0, 6-2.

The Titans are now 10-7 on the season and 4-6 in Florida College System Activities Association Athletics Region 8 play.

EFSC will play at No. 7 State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota on Friday.
