LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLORIDA (WOFL FOX 35) – On Saturday during the Braves-Pirates spring training game a bat flew into the stands in the middle of an inning.

The bat was headed straight for a young boy in the crowd, but the father to his right instinctively stuck out his arm to prevent the bat from hitting the boy’s face.

The moment was captured by breath taking images from Pittsburgh Tribune-Review photographer Christopher Horner who shared the photos on Twitter.

The two will be featured on FOX35 News Monday evening and on Good Day Orlando Tuesday morning.
