BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On March 7, I had the honor of attending a farewell luncheon for Finance Manager Denise Postlethweight, who is leaving the Sheriff’s Office after 19 years of dedicated service.

While Denise is leaving our agency to assist with an out of state family operated business she has been an amazing part of our agency’s success.

Denise has been instrumental in overseeing all facets of the agency’s fiscal responsibilities for its annual budget while also being heavily involved as a volunteer with numerous Sheriff’s Office related charities.

During the past two years, Denise was tasked with enhancing and expanding the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Police Athletic League nonprofit organization and was also instrumental in the development of two other nonprofits for the agency; the Brevard County Public Safety Charity and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Pet Posse.
