TARGETING SOUTHERN BREVARD COUNTY

Melbourne just broke their rainfall record for today – in less than 45 minutes. Over 2 inches of rain has fallen so far and it is still raining, according to the National Weather Service.

Weather Alert for Brevard County, Florida… THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR CENTRAL INDIAN RIVER COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA AND SOUTHEASTERN BREVARD COUNTY IN FLORIDA UNTIL 615 PM EDT.

AT 5:07 PM EDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR BLUE CYPRESS LAKE, MOVING NORTH AT 35 MPH.
