BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard Fire Rescue crews have a responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian near N. Courtenay Pkwy. and Grove Blvd. in Merritt Island Thursday afternoon, according to Brevard Fire Rescue.

Two trauma alerts have been administered and two helicopters were called in to transport the two people to nearby hospitals.
