Ron DeSantis and Todd Wilcox have confirmed their participation in the 2016 Republican Primary Campaign Forum and Straw Poll event April 10 in Viera.
BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Republican Liberty Caucus of Central East Florida has announced that two of the republican candidates in the race to replace Marco Rubio in the US Senate, Ron DeSantis and Todd Wilcox, will be appearing together April 10, on stage, at the 2016 Republican Primary Campaign Forum and Straw Poll event in Viera.

“This will be a great opportunity for Brevard citizens to get to know not only these candidates for the US Senate, but also the candidates running to represent them in the Florida Senate and the Florida House of Representatives,” said Bob White, Chairman of the RLCCEF.
For Florida Senate District 17, State Representatives Debbie Mayfield and Ritch Workman, along with Brevard County Republican State Committeeman Mike Thomas, will also be participating in the forum.
Candidates running for the Florida House that will be participating in the forum include George Collins and Chadwick Hardee running in District 50; Tim Tumulty, running in district 51; Brian Hodgers, Monique Miller and Fritz Van Volkenburg, running in District 52; and Randy Fine, running in District 53.
“Brevard County voters will get to see these candidates on stage together answering questions and debating the issues,” said White.

Congressman Bill Posey will be in attendance to welcome everyone and encourage their participation in the electoral process.
“Bill is a great friend and a supporter of Liberty in Washington DC. We are very pleased to have him give the welcome and opening remarks” said White.
The 2016 Republican Primary Campaign Forum and Straw Poll will take place on Sunday, April 10th at the Viera Holiday Inn Business Center, located at 8298 N. Wickham Rd.
The event will officially begin at 2 p.m. Doors will open at 12:30 for those that want to come early and visit with the candidates individually.
General Admission is $5.00. A cash bar will be available.
