BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA – I would like to personally invite everyone to join us at Viera High School on April 9 for a fun filled “Globetrotter” styled basketball game between the BCSO Enforcers and local celebrities who are working together to raise money for the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity, Inc.

This game is not just a normal basketball game as the Enforcers will do everything they can to run the score up on the local celebrities.

To do it however they will have to face some tough obstacles like a hockey-styled penalty box and I look forward to refereeing.

The game is sure to include some great dunks (by the Enforcers of course), 3 and 4-point shooting, and great spectator participation and interaction with the players and refs.

Tickets will be available at the door for $5 and we encourage you to bring the entire family for this fun event. There will also be raffle prizes and fun stuff for the kids to do before the game.

ABOVE VIDEO: The philanthropic-minded Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Enforcers have volunteered to work with kids at Police Athletic League summer camps and pitted themselves against the Court Kingz to help the Brevard Neighborhood Development Coalition and the Harlem Ambassadors twice to raise funds for the Children’s Advocacy Center.

The Enforcers are all volunteer players from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and are a force to be reckoned with. In 2014 the Enforcers brought home a silver medal when they competed in the United States Police and Fire Games in San Diego, California.

The local celebrities hope to dethrone the Enforcers and will need the spectators help to do it by donating to have the Enforcer Players put in the penalty box to give them a winning advantage.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity Incorporated is a not-for-profit that raises money to help all Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighters in Brevard County in a time of need or tragedy.

The charity also gives money for scholarships and helps other local Brevard County charities so that we can all work together to keep Brevard County a great place to call home.
