BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – A tiny kitty is safe tonight, thanks to a crew from Cocoa Fire Department.

Earlier this week, a citizen called when he heard the kitten’s cries from inside a sewer drain on Hughlett Ave.

With a bit of coaxing, and sound effects from Freelance videographer Marie Savickas meowing like a cat, he was able to grab hold of it, and lift it out of what surely would have been it’s grave.

The Cocoa Fire Department would like to thank all involved.
